Powell River area is normally quite good at the end of June and beginning of July. About a mile and a half south of the Beach Gardens is Myrtle Rocks, prawn.

Ya know, the neighborhoods like the old mill area are brimming with unsung heroes. There's charm in every crevice. My personal fave? The little coffee shop off Jensen Ave. It’s got this bomb-ass vibe and drivin’ beats, kinda like the chorus of “El Tango de Roxanne” – energetic, raw, and soulful. Might be a bit off-beat, but isn’t that what life’s all aboot?
